About

On 20 June 2026, Team Ormeau Labs (Amy, Emma & Rosy) will be taking on the Fairhead Abseil in Ballycastle in support of Little Heroes.

We will be stepping over the edge of one of Northern Ireland's highest cliffs and making my way down over 90 feet. It is definitely outside our comfort zone, but we are doing it for a reason that matters far more than the challenge itself.

Little Heroes supports children and families at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children. When a child is in hospital, families often arrive quickly and without the essentials they need. The charity provides practical support such as toiletries for parents staying overnight, comfort items for children, and equipment for hospital wards.

These are not extras. They are the small but important things that make an incredibly difficult time just a little more manageable.

We are am aiming to raise as much as possible to support this work. Every donation, no matter the size, will help make a real difference to families who are going through something most of us hope we never have to face.

For example, 25 pounds could provide essential toiletries for a parent staying at their child's bedside. 100 pounds could help fund comfort items for a ward. Larger donations can contribute towards vital equipment that supports patient care.

If you are able to support us, we would be very grateful. Thank you for taking the time to read and for any contribution you can make.
